It seems my daughter has caught the attention of one of the little boys in her class. Adam will be 2 this month and is a big boy, and very handsome too. He's so fun and loves all the little kids in the class. However, it seems that he loves my little one more than the other kids.
Every time we arrive in school, Adam comes barging forward and loves to give Romina tons of lovins. I mean TONS of lovins. As soon as Romina sees him come her way she clings on to me for dear life and starts crying.
So, on Friday when we got to school, Adam right away gives Romina the biggest hug; except that Romina is way shorter than him so he winds up giving her a massive hug around her neck and smothers her face on his chest and picks her up. Wow! That's a lot of lovin'.
Apparently, the teachers in her class have come to refer to Adam's affection as "stalker love". He checks to see if the teachers are looking and if they are not paying attention, he'll start hugging and kissing Romina. In fact, they say that he just follows her pretty much most of the time. And they say that Romina now has gotten to the point where she'll let him caress her face and doesn't mind it anymore.
I gotta keep an eye on that little boy there.
